Canyon Rescue Technician - Unit Two: 
A multi-day course designed to create a better understanding of canyon PPE, hasty team rope systems, advanced rope systems and anchor considerations for hasty and team based evolutions, rescue practice considerations for dry, semi dry and swiftwater canyon scenes, patient environmental exposure concerns, litter packaging, floatation and in water litter maneuvering techniques using advanced rope systems, long and short earth slope hauling, low tension guidelines, tensioned highline haul systems, advanced anchors, helicopter assist and self rescue. Canyon rescuers must be prepared to be in that environment long after the patient(s) have been evacuated including exposed recovery periods.
